iNSulteng - The Commander of the Indonesian National Police Mobile Brigade Corps, Commissioner General of Police Imam Widodo as the Head of Operations of the Tribrata Jaya 2024 Operation Task Force appealed to all Catholics who will attend the grand mass of Pope Francis at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK), Central Jakarta to be in good health.
The statement was made by Imam while attending the assembly in order to secure the visit of Pope Francis and the International Sustainability Forum (ISF) at the B3 Field of the TNI Headquarters in Cilangkap, Monday (2/9/2024).
"I ask that the congregation who will come later, be truly in good health. Because we know, we have information that approximately 86 thousand congregations will come later to attend the mass," said Imam.

Furthermore, Imam also asked the organizing committee to try to ensure that the participants who attend are in good health. He estimates that quite a few Catholics who will attend are over 50 years old.
"This is a concern because we are sure that many are over 50 (years)," he said.
According to the Imam, at least 1,400 buses will be used by the congregation to come to the mass location. Later, thousands of buses will stop at several points that are parking pockets such as the Smesco Building to PRJ Kemayoran.
